CAROLYN TRAYLER
I have been an artist's agent for quite a few years now. And the reason I have stayed in the same business is largely due to the passion I feel for photography and the fascination of seeing a layout become a finished image. Also the pleasure of discovering and working with the talented artists we have in our stable, which is a joy, as they are all dedicated and driven, yet can still be light hearted and see the humour in the business.
I am lucky to have had some wonderful assistants along the way and quite a few have gone on to be incredible agents themselves, but (sorry girls), the best assistant has come along in the shape of my own daughter, who has joined me with her enthusiasm, energy, and her own great eye and has brought a whole new dynamism to the Trayler & Trayler Agency.
Obviously we do all the usual production stuff and have a great team around us to help each shoot go smoothly. Finally and most importantly, we enjoy getting the job for our artists by making sure our cost estimates make the client happy!
SKYE TRAYLER GRAHAM
Representing the 'youf' as it were, I try to keep abreast of all the young and upcoming talent by fitting in lots of degree shows, as well as being involved in the AOP with seminars and judging. But youth needs experience and wisdom which is why Carolyn and I make such a great team.
As well as producing more and more shoots myself (which I love) and branching us out into illustration, I am enjoying being challenged by our new 3D Animation team, Finger Industries. I am now being introduced to new digital clients and nearer to becoming the technical wizard I always dreamt of being.
Simply put, I genuinely relish anything that requires a different perspective and keeps me on my toes... which is why I love my job.
